Sequel to its desire to upgrade the knowledge and skills of staff in grant/proposal writing, Management of C. K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences (CKT-UTAS), in collaboration with the Office of Grants and Research, has rolled out a training programme for staff. Participants were carefully selected across the various faculties/schools of the University with the hope that, each faculty/school, will be equipped with the relevant technical know-how to attract funding for research.
The maiden edition took place on Thursday 25th , Friday 26th , and Saturday 27th February, 2021. The Training was sponsored by the Resource Person, Dr. Might Kojo Abreh, Head, Grants and Consultancy, Institute of Educational Planning and Administration, University of Cape Coast, (A UNESCO Category II Centre of Excellence).
Prior to the main training session, Dr. Abreh had a meeting with Management and Deans to determine the specific areas of focus. Based on the outcome of the Meeting, tailor- made training sessions were designed to cater for the specific needs of the University.
