In a heartwarming gesture of support for young talent and innovation, Republic Bank PLC has stepped forward to support Enactus CKT-UTAS, a passionate group of young student entrepreneurs. The bank’s generous donation of €4,200.00 will help propel the team towards success in the upcoming Enactus World Cup competition, set to take place in Utrecht, Netherlands, from October 15^th to October 21^st, 2023.

This remarkable donation was initiated when the Management of CKT-UTAS reached out to Republic Bank PLC for assistance. The call for aid came during a crucial juncture as the team was gearing up for the World Cup Competition, and financial support was instrumental to their participation. Recognising the potential and dedication of these young student entrepreneurs, Republic Bank PLC, stepped in and made an impact.

The presentation was done on the 26^th of September, 2023, when the Sector Manager and Branch Manager at Bolgatanga, Mr. Pius Twum Berimah, and Mr. Hope Kofi Dzodzegbe, respectively, presented the donation to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Eric Magnus Wilmot, and the Registrar, Dr. V. A. Ankamah-Lomotey, who received it on behalf of management.

Enactus CKT-UTAS, driven by their passion for social entrepreneurship and innovation, will use this donation to further develop their projects and prepare for the Enactus World Cup competition. The international stage provides an incredible opportunity for these young entrepreneurs to showcase their projects and ideas, which aim to drive positive change in their community and beyond.
