Suspension of Face-to-Face Lectures

Premise on the Academic Board decision of Friday, January 8, 2021, for the resumption of face-to-face lectures on condition that all COVID-19 protocols will be observed and that any single reported case of COVID-19 on the Campus will lead to the suspension of face-to-face lectures, Management of CKT-UTAS in consultation with Convocation at its Emergency meeting held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, has suspended face-to-face lectures with immediate effect. This is in response to reported cases of COVID-19 infections among students and staff.

Staff, Students, parents, and the general public are however assured that adequate measures are being put in place for lectures to resume virtually from next week Wednesday, March 3, 2021. Please, note that no student will be entertained on Campus when the online lectures begin. Meanwhile, Management wants to assure parents that students who have tested positive are in good health and responding to treatment at the expense of the University.

It is hoped that all staff, students, and the general public will continue to adhere to the needed protocols put out by the government and the Campus COVID-19 Management Team to help curb the spread of the virus.
